Lockdown ended at Anne Arundel schools
From Anne Arundel County Public Schools:
Lockdowns at North County High School, Hilltop ES, Lindale MS, Linthicum ES, the Ferndale Early Education Center, George Cromwell ES, Brooklyn Park MS, and Park ES have been lifted. All schools are back to operating on a normal schedule as of 12:23 pm today.
The Sun reports that the lockdown was the result of a police investigation.
UPDATES: The Examiner reports that a manhunt began in the area after police received a tip that Antonio Moore, who is wanted for attempted murder, kidnapping and assault, was in the area. Schools were initially locked down around 10:19 a.m.
It has now come out that Moore appeared in drag at North County High School in Linthicum and asked to see a female student who was not expecting a visitor. He disappeared before a school resource officer returned after he asked for the student.
