There has been nothing of substance announced by University officials in the case of the “threatening” flyers found last Thursday at UMBC that we discussed here late Friday. However, comments on this LiveJournal comments thread illuminate the effect that the news has had on the student body at the Catonsville campus.

One commenter claims to have e-mailed campus police and administrators and received a reply that said no more information had been released because it was an ongoing investigation. Another commenter passes on rumors that a white supremacist group was involved while another commenter says (from a supposedly authoritative source) that the flyers passed on threats to blow things up on campus and that white powder was also found.
