Weekend Lacrosse Preview

laxfinal4.gifThe quarterfinals of the NCAA men’s lacrosse tourney are this weekend in Annapolis and in New Jersey. 2 of the 6 teams from Maryland remain alive. Johns Hopkins plays Georgetown at Princeton while UMBC plays Delaware in Annapolis. The winners of those two games face off in the semifinals next weekend here in Baltimore. The other semifinal match-up will feature the winner of Duke-North Carolina (in Annapolis this weekend) and Albany-Cornell (in Princeton.)

All games are on ESPNU. UMBC plays at noon Sunday while the Blue Devils and Tarheels play after that at 3. The Princeton semis are at noon (Albany-Cornell) and 3 (JHU-Georgetown) Saturday.
