Violent Night
Posted by Jeff Quinton on May 23, 2007There were 2 deaths and 11 injuries in a series of unrelated crimes in Baltimore City that started Tuesday afternoon and ended Wednesday morning. 1 man was killed and 1 injured in a shooting on Fayette Street. A 6-year old boy was wounded in West Baltimore. A man was shot in the head and killed in east Baltimore on 21st Street. A woman is expected to recover after being shot in the stomach on Roland View Avenue. Four wounded men were found in two separate locations along Mount Royal Avenue. A man was shot in the wrist on Eutaw Street and, finally, three people were stabbed on Water Street.
Baltimore Crime has a roundup of the rest of the day’s crime-related news - including a new NAACP plan to reduce crime as well as a city councilman backing down on his lockdown zone plan to stop crime.
