The Johns Hopkins Blue Jays won their ninth NCAA Lacrosse Championship today as they defeated the Duke Blue Devils 12-11 in front of a record crowd of 48,443 at M&T Bank Stadium.

Hopkins jumped out to an early lead and then held off a Duke comeback that included two late shots. The first shot was kick-saved by the JHU goalie and the second one went wide.
