6-alarm warehouse fire in Arbutus

The Wollen Webers warehouse in the 1400 block of Rome Road in Baltimore County near Arbutus and Halethorpe has been on fire for almost two hours. WJZ reported it as a 4-alarm fire online at 10:17 p.m. while the WBAL 11 p.m. news (no online story) reports that it is a six alarm fire now. 100,000 square feet of space in the warehouse is on fire.

Both sources reported that one of the businesses renting space in the warehouse is the non-profit Casey Cares Foundation. The foundation website gives their mission statement as: The Casey Cares Foundation mission is to provide uplifting and heartwarming programs with a special touch in order to enhance the lives of critically ill children and their families.
