Actually the Chef Boyardee mansion was lived in by Mr and Mrs Boiardi for many years, not just two years. It may have been a showcase but it was most certainly a home. Mo..maureen, my mother, loved the house and spent a great deal of time and effort in building it. The house was finally sold to a friends of my parents.
A beautiful property that had many great years in it. I am sure the rumour of Michael jackson buying the house is complete nonsense.
When my parents put the house up for sale, hundreds of people were going to buy it, oprah, jackson, mike tyson, Shaquil Oneil, the ferrari corporation...etc, the list ent on and on ..
I would be surprised to see jackson settle on the eastern shore, although I don't think he could get a better place in the location. I may even get an invite back to my old house.

As for the pink castle being bought in Tunis Mills, i spend many happy times at that pink castle.. unless the world has passed me by in the last few months, the owner whom is a dear friend of my family well lets say, I have not heard about Michael jackson buying the pink castle...

But who knows in this wild world

The "old Chef Boyardeee" estate was actually built by the chef's son, Mario Boiardi. It is a gorgeous 26,000 sq. foot Georgian on the Wye River. Name of it is Penderyn and is listed by Benson and Mangold. http://www.bensonandmangold.com/listings/penderyn.html.
It has been for sale on and off for years. Mario and his wife Maureen (commonly known as Mo) lived it in for less than two years... and it took five to build. It is truly stunning, but is a showcase, not a home.

If you go again to Ken Courtade's blog you can find more info about the property that allegedly MJ bought or looked at. Here is the link to the property (Penderyn Estate):
http://www.bensonandmangold.com/listings/penderyn.html

But someone else says later it is false.

So, the footage filmed from the helicopter has been broadcasted on TV? Any chance to see it on the internet? I can identify most of his staff, like the nannies, the bodyguards, spokewoman, etc. If they are his staff, I can show pictures to prove they are part of his entourage. Anyone taped it from TV?

Here's the Star Democrat article. It was reprinted on delmarvanow.com (free).

Pop star Michael Jackson on the Shore?
By The Star Democrat

ST. MICHAELS -- Officially, no one would say Thursday that Michael Jackson, the erstwhile "King of Pop," was in the area. Neither, however, would anyone deny the talk.

Privately, inside sources reported that Jackson was not only staying at the Inn at Perry Cabin, he might be looking to buy land in Talbot or Queen Anne's counties.

Julia Barnes, a spokesman for the Inn at Perry Cabin, said the hotel is not in the habit of giving away guest information and de-clined to comment on the matter.

The St. Michaels Police Department and the Talbot County Sheriff's Office said they had not heard of Jackson being in the area.

The Star Democrat heard from confidential sources that Jackson was staying at the inn, though the atmosphere outside the inn Thursday afternoon hardly resembled the scene outside the California courthouse where his 2005 trial for molestation charges occurred (Jackson was cleared on all counts).

Tipsters also identified three palatial estates in Talbot and Queen Anne's counties that Jackson was supposedly interested in viewing. Phone calls to the real estate agents also were not returned.

According to West Coast media reports, Jackson's representative confirmed Wednesday that Jackson is moving out of a rented Las Vegas mansion today, when his $1 million lease on the property expires. The spokes-man, Raymone Bain, also denied rumors that Jackson was planning to move out of the country, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
