Overnight, a Baltimore City Police officer shot a domestic violence suspect who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and her child. The shooting occurred on Garrison Avenue. The officer is on administrative leave pending an investigation.

An inmate who escaped his leg restraints near the city courthouse yesterday afternoon is still at large. Mayor Sheila Dixon is up on TV now with her first ad. 66 legislators are in Boston this week for a national conference.
