Orioles lose by 27
On a day when interim manager Dave Tremblay was announced as the new manager for next season, the Orioles gave up 30 runs and only scored 3 in a loss to the Rangers. That game was a makeup of Monday’s rainout, so now they’re having to play another game right after that slaughter.
In the first game, the Rangers scored the most runs in Major League Baseball since 1897 and the most ever in the American League. The Orioles actually led 3-0 before Texas scored 30 unanswered runs.
