Chris Turners father turns out to be much more than a former ROCK STAR! From what I understand, he remains best friends with Stephen (lead singer). He never went back into the Rock Scene and turned in his drums for his family instead. Turner is President and CEO of a company in LA., and from what LA says he has coached Chris in baseball and football since he was 3. Apparently Dad has some talent! I heard Turners grandfather built the first baseball park in San Diego on City property in 1960's.

[...] Chris Turner started at QB with Jordan Steffy still sitting. Andrew Crummey has gone down with an ankle injury and is not expected to return. Rick Costa, who started for the injured Erin Henderson, was transported to Shock Trauma for precautions after a neck injury that appeared to be caused by a helmet-to-helmet collision when he and another Terps’ player were both trying to tackleTashard Choice. Maryland did lead 21-3 at one point but gave up a late touchdown to Georgia Tech on a turnover. [...]
