Frederick Co. employers could be fined for hiring illegals

Posted by Jeff Quinton on January 2, 2008

WBAL.com and the AP report on a new proposal by a Frederick County Commissioner that would penalize businesses in that county who hire illegal aliens. The proposal, by Commissioner Charles Jenkins, would have the county inspect records at businesses with building permits from the county. Businesses with illegals working for them would be fined. Jenkins previously proposed a measure that would end some county services for illegals.
