The mall management was just pathetic in their lack of warning. No vendors nor shoppers were warned that there were armed and dangerous persons who had already stabbed someone running around. Later that evening, after the incident had long ago occurred, the mall sent out a paper memo. It wasn’t even apologetic. It claimed that the mall puts the safety of its staff and patrons first. Really? Not warning ANYONE that there was a knife-wielding guy on the loose is looking after our safety? I don’t care if it was thought to be an isolated drug-related incident. Violence is violence, and it endangers us all.

Carmen, if you’re worried about violence in Columbia I suggest you take a serious look at the strong geographical correlation of the violence and subsidized housing. It’s obvious that subsidized housing in Columbia is not working; it’s just bringing terrorists into our fine city.
Want justice in Columbia ? Remove subsidized housing and save the city for those proud enough to work hard and sacrifice to be part of a real community.
