Mt. St. Mary’s won the play-in game with the Coppin State Eagles in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament tonight in Dayton by a final score of 69-60. The Mount will now face the #1 seed North Carolina Tarheels in Raleigh later this week. Mt. St. Mary’s and UMBC (who takes on the Georgetown Hoyas later this week) are the only Maryland schools remaining in the tournament. Coppin finishes the season at 16-21.
