Children murdered at Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards

Baltimore police say a man has killed his three young children at a downtown hotel.

Police spokesman Sterling Clifford says the man called the desk at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards on Eutaw Street around 1:15 p.m. and said he had just killed his three children.

Clifford says after hotel security called police, officers found three children dead and a man with minor cuts that appear to be self-inflicted.

The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of the cuts. City spokesman, Sterling Clifford, tells WBAL Radio the man is in police custody.

Hotel security told police that they received a call from a hotel guest at about 1:15 p.m. today saying that he had just killed three of his children and that he was thinking of doing harm to himself.

When security guards went to the hotel room on the 10th floor from which the call was made, they discovered the bodies of three children, police said.
