BCPL ends dial-up internet
Posted by Jeff Quinton on April 22, 2008The Baltimore County Library System is ending its dial up Internet service.
Bcpl.net has been offered for subscription since 1995 in the county to anyone in the area who wanted to pay for the service.
Library spokesman Bob Hughes tells WBAL Radio that at the height of the program 9000 people were using the service. Now there are 2000.
