It’s homecoming day for 120 Maryland National Guard soldiers who have been away for the last year.

This afternoon, members of Company C, 1st Battalion, 175th Infantry Regiment of the Maryland National Guard will return to their headquarters at the Towson Armory.

The unit left for service in Iraq and Afghanistan right before Memorial Day last year.

Staff Sgt. Collin Bowen of Perry Hall died at the Brook Army Medical Center in Texas. He was wounded in January.
