My husband was a member of the commissioning crew of the U.S.S. Saginaw LST1188 back in January of 1970. However, other than one relatively small article I saw in the Sun on Friday, and a very short mention on WJZ news at 11:00 PM tonight, I have found no other mention of this event on the Baltimore TV stations. And the fact that they moved the Constellation over to the commisioning site should have been cause for more media coverage. Baltimore TV stations, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
