Rumor: Brian Billick invests in WNST?
Posted by Jeff Quinton on August 25, 20088/21 - As for that rumor floating around that former Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick has made a financial investment in Baltimore sports talker WNST (1570 AM), a local radio guru tells us: “Why would Brian invest in WNST? He does not live here any longer. He works for Fox sports and has a platform to do whatever he wants. If he really wanted drive the Ravens nuts he could command a big contract with WHFS-FM and ESPN 1300 AM. So while at this point the report might be right it makes no real business sense.” DCRTV is told that Billick does still live in the Baltimore area. More as we hear it….

Brian and his family continue to live in Baltimore, and are building a home on he Eastern Shore for retirement. He likes Maryaland and loves the water. As I understand it, he will continue to live in Baltimore, and will commute for his assignments for Fox. I know he does not want a booth position and would rather be on the field for games and analysis. I wish him and his wife Kim the best and look foward to his new gig with Fox
