Radio Roundup

Unless otherwise noted, most of this info came from DCRTV.com.

1. The ax fell this week on several members of management at the Clear Channel cluster over in Salisbury.

2. DCRTV and the Sun report that in addition to becoming an on-air personality at WNST, the earlier rumors about Brian Billick investing in the station are true.

3. CBS Radio in Baltimore is reportedly selling off 5 stations in town including WHFS, WLIF, WMMX, WQSR and WJFK-AM. Bonneville is said to be interested in WLIF (101.9 FM.)

4. There are reports that Kirk and Mark’s unplanned “vacation” at WHFS (105.7) is a prelude to their morning snow being dropped. Could the Junkies be back on 105.7?

5. DCRTV confirms something reproted here earlier – that Steve Czaban will indeed be heard on 1370 AM when their sports format starts up.

6. WZBA (100.7) will be adding Bob & Tom to their morning lineup after parting ways with Chris Emry. Emry is on 94.7 in DC at night now.
