Southbound 295 blocked near Route 100
Posted by Jeff Quinton on September 5, 2008Southbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway between Route 100 and Interstate 195 remained closed this morning as authorities continued to investigate an accident involving a car and a motorcycle that left one dead.
The crash happened about 12:10 a.m., just north of the Route 100 ramp, and Anne Arundel County police were leading the investigation. Details about how the accident happened, the name of the victim and information about others involved were not immediately available.
Emergency dispatcher Rick Saghy said investigators were expecting to be at the scene for a few more hours this morning.
“It’s been a long night,” Saghy said.
