Worcester [Mass.] police are investigating the stabbing death of a 19-year-old Becker College student from Maryland following a fight in an off-campus apartment.

The victim has been has been identified by the college as William L. Smith, a sports management major from Scotland, Md.

Detective Captain Edward McGinn said the victim was fatally stabbed early Sunday morning after a fight that broke out inside the apartment and spilled out into the street.

McGinn said investigators do not believe the assailants were other Becker College students. No arrests have been reported.
