O’Malley claims no interest in cabinet post
Not that he was going to be offered one but…
Governor O’Malley says he is not going to accept a Cabinet post in the new Barack Obama administration soon to take power in Washington.
The Examiner-Baltimore edition reports that O’Malley was asked Thursday at a Maryland Chamber of Commerce conference in Cambridge if he would accept a position with the Obama administration. The Governor said he would not. O’Malley was the after-dinner speaker and a member of the audience asked the question.
The newspaper says that O’Malley later said in response to a question in an interview that being a second-tier Cabinet member would not be better than being Governor.
[...]
Because O’Malley is relatively-young and has not yet finished a first term as Governor, conventional observers say it is not likely he would be offered a top-tier Cabinet post such as attorney general, secertary [sic] of state.

Obama wouldn’t even offer O’Malley a job as White House janitor or toilet cleaner, let alone a position in Obama’s cabinet. O’Malley ruined his career by backing Hillary in her efforts to destroy Obama. O’Malley gambled and lost. His only future lies in the deep pondscum that is MD politics.
