Firefighter injured
A Baltimore County fire official said a firefighter was injured battling flames at a Randallstown home [Sunday.]
Firefighters were called to the two-story home in the 3700 block of Courtley Drive around 5:15 p.m. It took firefighters over an hour to control the one-alarm fire.
Fire department spokesperson, Elise Armacost, said the fire started in the basement, but a gas line break fueled the fire and it spread to the upper levels of the home.
Armacost said there were people home when the fire broke out, but they made it out safely.
She added the firefighter was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview for smoke inhalation.
