Winds and power outages
High winds are not expected to loosen their grip on Maryland for most of the day.
A wind advisory remains in place until 6 tonight.
Wind chills are in the single digits this morning. Gusts up to 45 miles an hour have taken down some trees.
Some areas have lost power. BGE is reporting on its web site that about 3-thousand customers are without power…nearly all of them in Anne Arundel County. A few hundred are in Howard County and the city.
