Joe Flacco was 9 for 23 with 135 yards passing and rushed for a touchdown in today’s win (the first playoff win in the Harbaugh era.) Ed Reed had two (including one for a touchdown) of the defense’s four interceptions while Fabian Washington and Jim Leonhard had the remainder. Willis McGahee rushed for 48 yards on 7 carries.

The teams traded field goals in the first half, with the Dolphins scoring first. Matt Stover’s reply was a 23-yarder. In the 2nd quarter, Ed Reed returned a Chad Pennington pass 64 yards for a touchdown to put the Ravens on top 10-3 with just under three minutes remaining in the half. Another Stover field goal made it a 13-3 lead for Baltimore over Miami at the half. Le’Ron McClain increased the Ravens’ lead with an eight-yard rush in the 3rd Quarter to make it 20-3. Miami scored on a short pass in the 4th Quarter but the subsequent extra point was blocked. The score then stood at 20-9 until Flacco scored fon a 5-yard run to give us our final score.

The win means the Ravens will travel to Nashville next Saturday to take on the Tennessee Titans at LP Field at 4:30.
