Verizon FiOS in Harford County

AP

The Harford County Council has given Verizon the go-ahead to offer its fiber-optic FiOS TV to county residents. The all-fiber network carries digital television and high-speed Internet and voice services.

The council’s unanimous vote will give county residents an alternative to current cable provider Comcast. Verizon said it plans to begin offering FiOS Internet and FiOS TV in Aberdeen and other areas of Harford County in April.

Verizon currently offers FiOS Internet and TV services to communities in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, and parts of Bel Air.

I would recommend asking Verizon that. They can tell you specifics. We can’t
