We previously reported on rumors that Michael Phelps was dating Miss California USA Carrie Prejean.

Now the L.A. Times reports on photographic proof (first shown by Radar Online) of the pair’s involvement going back to last September at the Palms in Las Vegas. There were several reports back in the fall of how much time the Olympian was spending in Las Vegas playing poker.

The Vegas esacapades also reportedly let to Phelps’ involvement with a casino hostess, who he reportedly brought home to Baltimore for Thanksgiving. He also reportedly had at least a fleeting romance at the Olympics with an Australian athlete.

The most recent reports about the beauty queen and the Olympian indicate that they went to a Michigan Wolverines football game, a Cleveland Browns football game, and that Phelps calls whenever he’s in town. Most of this information apparently came from interviews with Prejean’s grandmother.

The grandmother even said in the interview:

“Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn’t serious about being in a relationship with him,” she added. “He’s a nice guy and she likes him.”
