Flash Flood Warning
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of Maryland where heavy rains are falling again this morning in areas where the ground was already soaked from severe storms on Monday afternoon.
The warning covers Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties as well as part of Northern Virginia. It will remain in effect until at least 11:30am.
The Weather Service says the slow moving storms have already dropped as much as 2 to 3 inches of rain on some areas over the last few hours. And some areas could see an addition [sic] inch or two over the next few hours.
