For sure, who can argue that Russell street needs repaving? Having a real Superkart Race in support would bring thousands including teams from Europe, Brazil and Australia. Just ask the City of Daytona what "Kartweek" does for local businesses in December. And that's just the impact form the karts. Add the Indy following (those teams drop a lot of $$ and would surely fill the Harbor area hotels) and it would be a huge boom for the city. This is a great idea.
