Police spokesman suspended for sending nude photo to TV newsroom
Baltimore City Police Spokesman Troy Harris has been suspended with pay after reportly [sic] emailing a nude photo of a woman to a Baltimore TV station by accident.
Reports say that Officer Harris sent the photo through email Thursday night instead of a request[ed] mug shot.
Baltimore City Police have confirmed the suspension but will not elaborate why Officer Harris has been suspended.
Police say the internal affairs unit is investigating.
The Baltimore Sun reports the television station that received the email was WBAL.
WBAL TV’s website has not mentioned this story as of yet. It will be interesting to see how they cover it since their news director is quoted in the Sun story but not saying very much.
