One death after shooting at Fullerton liquor store

Earlier tonight I twittered about seeing numerous police cars headed at a high rate of speed down Belair Road and Joppa Rd. earlier tonight. I caught the tail end of a report on WBAL that indicated it was a shooting with a death involved at Putty Hill Liquors. Corporal Mike Hill of Baltimore County PD said 2 suspects were at large still.

WJZ just claimed it happened “30 minutes ago” on their newscast which is wrong since I saw police cars responding around 2 hours ago. They also said that county police said it was a robbery gone bad.

Of course the media outlets located this shooting in White Marsh, the name they give to anywhere from Rosedale to the Harford County Line and Towson to Essex.

UPDATE
WMAR has more (and they at least go with the ZIP code locality of Nottingham in their report):

Baltimore County Police say a man in his 40’s was shot and killed inside a Nottingham Liquor store Thursday night.

The shooting happened at around 9 p.m. at Putty Hill Liquors located in a shopping center in the 7900-block of Belair Road.

Police found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on scene.

I was so sad to hear of “Kang’s” death. We moved to PA in 2002 from right around the corner form Putty Hill Liquors. We were in there all of the time. Kang was a great guy. hard working. Looking for the American dream. He found the American nightmare. He was friendly to everyone and always happy to seeing his customers come in and share news in their lives. Look at the names of the arrested. Guess they never thought they could work hard and get somewhere like Kang did. Bastards! I hope they rot in hell.
