Mezrich to discuss The Accidental Billionaires at Pratt Central Library Tuesday
I previously mentioned Gus Sentementes’ catch up post after his time off. He also mentioned in that post that he had read The Accidental Billionaires during his time off. The author of that book will be in town tomorrow night discussing it.
Ben Mezrich talks about his new book, The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal
The bestselling author of Bringing Down the House tells the story of the accidental creation of Facebook and the amazing tale of what followed. Eduardo Saverin and Mark Zuckerberg were Harvard undergraduates and best friends, brilliant at math but awkward with the opposite sex. Their quest for admission to one of Harvard’s elite clubs led them on a real life adventure and ruined their friendship.
A graduate of Harvard, Ben Mezrich has written 11 books, both fiction and nonfiction.
Breathe Books will be selling copies of Mezrich’s books at a book signing following the program.
See the film “21″ (based on Mezrich’s Bringing Down the House)on Saturday, July 18, 2 p.m. at the Central Library (Wheeler Auditorium).
