Pallotti Closing School Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7, 2009
Parents,
We will be closing school tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 which will include all practices, games and evening activities. We have confirmed that we have 5 cases of the H1N1 Flu in the student population. We have approximately 100 students out today for a variety of reasons. Some students have the regular flu and maybe H1N1. Some doctors are not testing for it and are telling them it does not matter – here’s Tamirflu, stay in bed 3 to 4 days and come back to school after 5 days. The cases so far have been no worse than the regular flu. Some students are staying home as a precaution.
The bottom line is we are going to close tomorrow and have the cleaning company come to and disinfect all common surfaces which will give us a fresh clean start on Thursday, October 8th. This is both precautionary and a sanitizing manner.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL GUIDELINES THAT NURSE SAUNDERS HAS SENT VIA EDLINE WHEN YOUR CHILD IS NOT FEELING WELL.
Sincerely,
Stephen J. Edmonds
President/Principal
