Recap and photos of Biggest Little Tailgate Party

DSC_0008
I went to the Biggest Little Tailgate Party event Monday night at M&T Bank Stadium. The event supported Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland.

Some of the notables there included Terry Owens of WMAR, Ed Norris of 105.7, Molly Shattuck, Nestor Aparicio of WNST, and Maryland First Lady Katie O’Malley. Jared Gaither of the Ravens was initially scheduled to be there but the Ravens had to stay late at practice Monday after their performance this past weekend. Two Ravens cheerleaders, Amanda and Kellie Lee, were there signing autographs and posing for pictures.

Entertainment was provided by the Paul Green School of Rock Music. There were all kinds of food there, including a chili cook-off contest. Some of Ravens’ Maniac fans were there. Captain Dee-fense was there and assisted in the events on the field, specifically a tug of war. There was a jousting station on the field (think basic training or boot camp pugil sticks), a kicking station for children, an obstacle course with the chance to catch a pass, and a passing drill. In addition to these games, those attending could try kicking a field goal on the field.

The food was great. The events on the field were fun and it was a great event overall for a great cause. I’m not going to get into judging all of the food – lots of it was great – but I did want to mention seeing Steve Kruskamp, Tom Rowe and Ryan Goff there serving a Buffalo dip. Lots of other business leaders and restaurants were there serving food.

All of the pictures from the event are below the fold.
