Multiple MARC trains operating one car short later today

Penn Line Riders: MARC train 426 departing Washington 3:37pm, 437 departing Baltimore 4:50pm, and train 538 departing Washington 6:05pm will be operating one car short this evening.

In all fairness to MARC, I think this is the same train doing DC-Balt-DC trips. Nonetheless, are the engines on the fritz again? Inquiring minds want to know…
Also there was a another ’security hold’ that delayed trains today. Biden is really ticking off the commuters!

There was a security hold today. There was also a train having mechanical problems out of Perryville. The short train notice was put out before the other two announcements.
