Video of Sheila Dixon ‘lashing out’ at media and aide
The mayor made the comments to a group of reporters and photographers who were waiting at her SUV parked outside of City Hall today. In a brief exchange she also admonished her deputy press secretary Ian Brennan for allowing photographers to surround her.
“Ian if you don’t get these cameras away…” Dixon said to Brennan.
“I am not going to allow the media to control this trial, and I mean it. You better respect me, and I’m not going to answer any questions. I don’t expect these cameras in front of me. The trial starts tomorrow. It will go through its process. I don’t appreciate this.”
The mayor then picked up some files out of her city SUV, and walked into City Hall surrounded by her police body guards and her aides.

if she didn’t expect cameras in front of her throughout this, maybe she shouldn’t have let herself get in this situation in the first place.
