Tuesday Morning’s News, 12/1

At least one person was killed this morning in a crash on the ramp to I-695 from I-95.

The Dixon Trial jury has already resumed their 7th day of deliberations today and they’ve already sent a note to the judge. Yesterday, the jury told the judge they weren’t able to get a unanimous decision on all counts. There is speculation that a verdict could come today.

Part of the Clipper Mill development is now in foreclosure. A new Best Buy is opening in Glen Burnie.

Maryland Terrapins Head Football Coach Ralph Friedgen met with Athletic Director Deborah Yow again yesterday. Rumors of staffing changes and offensive overhauls abound. The most recent rumor is that Offensivoe Coordinator and Head Coach in Waiting James Franklin is likely to go. There were earlier rumors Franklin might be gone even if Friedgen was canned.
