The Blind Side is an upcoming 2009 film written and directed by John Lee Hancock, and based on the 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game by Michael Lewis. The storyline features Michael Oher, an offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens NFL football team. The film follows Oher from his impoverished upbringings, through his years at Briarcrest Christian School, his adoption by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, and on to his position as one of the most highly coveted prospects in college football.

The film stars Quinton Aaron as Michael Oher and Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw as Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy, Oher’s adopted parents. Kathy Bates co-stars as Miss Sue, Oher’s no-nonsense tutor. The movie also features appearances by several current and former NCAA coaches, including Phil Fulmer, Nick Saban, Lou Holtz and Tommy Tuberville.

Charm City Cake’s Ace of Cakes Booksigning
Tuesday, October 27 at 7-10 p.m.
Duff, Mary Alice and the gang from Food Network’s Ace of Cakes sign copies of their new book Ace of Cakes: Inside the World of Charm City Cakes.

[...]

It’s not every day that you can watch smoke billow from a volcano-shaped cake, but perhaps that’s why Food Network’s Ace of Cakes, featuring Baltimore’s Charm City Cakes, has been so successful. The release of the book, Ace of Cakes: Inside the World of Charm City Cakes, features a photographic history of seven years worth of awe-inspiring cakes and should satisfy a craving to devour all there is to know about the bakery. Tonight at Atomic Books (co-owned by City Paper contributor Benn Ray), Duff Goldman and the gang will sign copies.

Duff was also interviewed this morning on Jojo and Reagan on Mix 106.5.

Atomic Books reports on their site:

This will be the only time the whole bakery will be present to sign copies of the book.
Note: crew will be filming for a future episode of the show
