Our annual Lincoln Day Dinner will be held in the Bistro Dining Room of the Guerrieri Center (aka the Commons) at Salisbury University on Saturday, February 6th, with dinner served at 7 p.m. – the cash bar opens at 6:30. Justin Ready announced his campaign in the Republican Primary for the House of Delegates last week. Since then, he has been fundraising, sign waving during rush hours, and engaged in other campaign activities.

A post at Red Maryland reporting on Annapolis rumors indicates that Bob Ehrlich may be announcing a run for Governor soon – a move which will put both Larry Hogan and Pat McDonough out of the race based on their earlier statements. McDonough has also been rumored as a candidate for Baltimore County Executive if he doesn’t run for his House seat again.
Governor Martin O’Malley’s campaign manager made an attempt to tie former Governor Robert Ehrlich to birthers in a recent fundraising letter.

As former governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R) continues to mull whether to get back in the ring, Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) has started taking some swings.
The latest came in a fundraising solicitation Thursday in which O’Malley seeks to tie Ehrlich to the “fringe right-wing base” of the Republican party — a difficult spot from which to win elections in a state where Democrats enjoy a 2-to-1 advantage in party registration.
