I just got a heads-up from someone asking about traffic on 175 and checked Traffic.com and found out that 175 is closed due to downed power lines between Burns Crossing and 2nd. BG&E is on the scene, but the road will be closed through the morning rush hour. Burns Crossing is listed as an alternate route.

Baltimore Business Journal
Baltimore transportation officials have once again delayed the launch of a free shuttle service, because the hybrid busses haven’t made their way to the city yet.
Transportation department spokeswoman Adrienne Barnes said city officials are meeting today to discuss what she termed “manufacturing” problems, and the department hopes to have a new launch date for the Charm City Circulator later today. The service already has been delayed twice.
The city announced plans for the shuttle service, and a complimentary Water Taxi Harbor Connector, to help alleviate congestion in downtown Baltimore. The shuttle service will have three routes when fully established, and is designed to connect riders to employement centers including Harbor East, the Science + Technology Park at Johns Hopkins and the Baltimore BioPark. The water taxi will pick up from there and run from the Inner Harbor to Fells Point and Tide Point.
