ForbesTraveler.com published an article that includes a list of America’s 20 Prettiest Towns.
Annapolis is included:
“Annapolis is somehow able to maintain ties to its historic colonial and maritime past without seeming hokey,” says Melville. “Walk down the cobblestone streets, stay overnight in one of the ancient Victorian bed and breakfasts, sail on the Chesapeake, and you’ll understand why it is perhaps the East’s most romantic town.”

The cameras will be located for the next month on the Baltimore Beltway at Charles Street; I-95 between I-895 and White Marsh Boulevard in Baltimore County; and I-95 between State Routes 198 and 216, along the ICC construction zone in Prince George’s County.
Administrator Neil Pederson says the cameras will be in vans parked in the work zones.
Pederson says overhead signs will alert motorists that they are entering a work zone with a camera. There will also be a speed trailer in the work zone that will display the speed of a passing motorist.
Pederson says more locations will be added depending on the results of the pilot. He says using mobile cameras is allowed under the law.

Maryland State Police say one driver was killed and another driver was injured in a two-vehicle collision on I-795 in Owings Mills.
It happened about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday near the Owings Mills Metro station. Troopers say a Honda Civic driven by 21-year-old Amy L. Brooking of Reisterstown was traveling southbound on I-795 when it crossed the grass median and went into the northbound lanes of the highway.
Brooking’s car struck a Freightliner box truck driven by 32-year-old William K. Dodge of Hanover, Pa. The truck went off the road and overturned.
Brooking was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital. Dodge was taken to Northwest Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

A two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on the Bay Bridge shut down the eastbound span for awhile.
State Transportation officials say that one lane eastbound is now getting by. Two way traffic is moving on the westbound side of the bridge.
Motorists should expect major delays on both sides of Route 50 at the bridge.
The accident involved a motorcycle and a car.
