ALTCRAFT ARTISTS TO EXHIBIT AT THE AMERICAN CRAFT COUNCIL’S 2011 BALTIMORE SHOW
Minneapolis, MN (January 4, 2011)— This year 30 indie artists will showcase their work in the AltCraft category at the expanded American Craft Council Show in Baltimore, February 24-27 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The Council invited artists whose work illustrates the innovative techniques and materials of the burgeoning new handmade craft movement to apply to a special section of the show. These AltCraft artists will join over 700 of the nation’s top contemporary craft artists in presenting their latest handmade works at the 35th annual American Craft Council Show in Baltimore.
This burgeoning group of artists who tend to exhibit at smaller, local craft shows, have been selected from hundreds of applicants nationwide through a rigorous jury process. The American Craft Council is proud to present AltCrafters’ a national stage for their eclectic works of art, which will be on the show floor during the entire four-day show.
