Holiday Collection Schedule - Thanksgiving Week

RECYCLING AND TRASH FACILITIES CLOSED, NO CURBSIDE COLLECTION ON THURSDAY

Annapolis (November 20, 2009) - The Department of Public Works, Waste Management Services will close the Millersville Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility, the Glen Burnie Convenience Center and Sudley Convenience Center on Thursday, November 26, 2009 and Friday, November 27, 2009 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Administrative offices will also be closed.

No curbside collection of recycling, yard waste, or trash will be provided on Thursday, November 26, 2009. Curbside collection will resume on Friday, November 27, 2009. Collections normally made on Thursday will be made on Friday, and collections normally made on Friday will be made on Saturday. The Department will reopen its recycling and trash facilities on Saturday, November 28, 2009 and administrative offices will resume normal operations on Monday, November 30, 2009.
