Loyola College Associate Professor of Pastoral Counseling and Director of Ph.d. Clinical Education Kelly Murray, 40, died on Saturday when a three foot in diameter tree branch landed on the Toyota minivan she and seven others were riding in.

An unidentified 7-year-old girl also died in the accident.

Six other passengers, ranging in age from 10 months to 11 years old, were pulled from the vehicle and taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.

Mikulski to attend Wallops launch facility groundbreaking

WBAL.com

Maryland Sen. Barbara Mikulski will be at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility for groundbreaking Monday on a launch facility that will test a new rocket designed to service the International Space Station once the shuttle retires.

The senator says construction will create 250 jobs and the launch site will eventually bring 400 high-tech jobs to the Eastern Shore by 2010.

The lower Eastern Shore site has been chosen by Orbital Sciences Corporation as the base of operations for development, assembly, and testing of the Taurus II rocket.

Mikulski is chairwoman of the Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations Subcommittee that funds NASA.

is presenting Terrence McNally’s
Love! Valor! Compassion!
Sept 18,2009

directed by Fuzz Roark

This is a dynamic story of 6 close friends
spending the holidays over one summer -
Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.
Lives change forever over this summer.

Gregory - the choreographer whose body is beginning to not let him dance as he once did
Bobby - Gregory’s much younger blind boyfriend, who is fallible
Buzz - living with AIDS, and defying what anyone says, loves musical theatre
John - a sarcastic Brit, wants to write musicals, but is Gregory’s rehearsal accompanist
Ramon - the hot young latino dancer, John has brought our for the first holiday weekend, he has a high sex drive
Arthur - Gergory’s account - part of the Arthur/Perry couple - been together 14 yrs.
Perry - Gregory’s lawyer - the other part of the couple - both are often the narrator for the story.
James - John’s twin brother - as compassionate as John is sarcastic - John brings him over from the UK, when his AIDS has become critical

Initial auditions have been held, but another audition will be scheduled following July 4th — with call backs.

This is an extreme ensemble production - so call backs will be held to find the best combination of actors.

New site design

As you may have noticed, we have a new site design here at Inside Charm City. We’re just doing a soft launch right now so we have some time to work the kinks out. If the site seems off in your browser, please send us an email with a screenshot. We really appreciate any bug reports.

Much thanks to One Fine Jay (@onefinejay on twitter) for all the assistance. If you need a site or blog designed, he is highly recommended.
