Armed Robbery on campus at UMBC

CRIME ALERT from the UMBC Police Department 05/21/2008

UMBC Police responded to a call for a reported armed robbery at the
Patuxent Apartments this morning at approximately 12:19 AM.

The suspects entered the apartment through an unlocked door. Three of
the students were in the living room of the apartment when the suspects
entered. The other student was in her bedroom. The suspects openly displayed
weapons, one a knife and one a handgun, threatened the students by
pointing their weapons in a threatening manner. At this point the
suspects demanded money and cellular telephones from the students. They
fled the apartment with an undetermined amount of money and cellular telephones.

The suspects are described as follows.
#1 Suspect
Black Male,
18 to 25 Years of Age
6′-02″ Height
Thin Build
Brown Eyes
Medium Complexion
Last Seen Wearing: Black Hoodie, Dark Pants, Black Bandana over his face.
Armed with a handgun.

#2 Suspect
Asian Male,
18 to 25 Years of Age
6′-02″ Height
Thin Build
Brown Eyes
Medium Complexion
Last Seen Wearing: Black Hoodie, Dark Pants, Black Bandana over his face.
Armed with a knife.

Baltimore County Police are handling the investigation, with UMBC Police assisting.

door unless you can identify the person seeking entrance.
