Updated: Would-be Dunkin Donuts robber shot by store owner
There was an attempted robbery attempt this morning at Dunkin Donuts at 3460 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel.
The robbery attempt occurred at about 3:30 a.m., said Lt. Glenn Shanahan, a police spokesman. A man described as the owner of the Dunkin’ Donuts shot the man, who was taken to Prince George’s County trauma hospital and is in serious condition, Shanahan said.

WBAL.com reports:
County police spokesman Justin Mulcahy told WBAL News that the man was taken to Prince George’s County hospital and later died.
WBAL also reports it was unclear if the person who shot the robber was a clerk or owner.

Good…maybe if more scum buckets died while committing crimes, then other scum buckets will be deterred from stealing.
The store owner is a hero in my book, and I'm sure the family of the "good and honest man who was a tragic victim of gun violence" for the damages and emotional stress. If that's the case, maybe this guy shouldn't be committing robberies!

3. It was not a declared robbery.
2. The guy had no right to shoot him OUTSIDE of the business
3. When he shot my cousin why didnt he call the ambulance immediately

FightinBluHen51: Just wanted to remind you that we're not in some remote or communist country where injustice is the order of the day. You're innocent until proven guilty in the U.S…not sure if you were aware or forgot what country you're in. Furthermore, since you have no proof of what happened, that makes your opinion pretty much invalid and worthless. =)

LOL, if you are any indication how screwed up your cousin was, I can see why he was stupid enough to get himself shot. What is a "declared robbery", why should the owner call an ambulance immediately (I would the scumbag bled out too), if your idiot cousin didn't want to get shot OUTSIDE he should have stand inside, what is a "PRESSING CHARGED" and learn the numbering system stupid (it goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc, not 1, 3, 2, 3, 4).
